The National Union of the Canadian Association of University Teachers (NUCAUT) represents CAUT member associations, which wish to join with the broader labour movement.

As members of the Canadian Labour Congress, provincial federations of labour, and local labour councils, NUCAUT and its members promote the interests of academic staff and seeks to improve the quality and accessibility of post-secondary education in Canada.

NUCAUT is committed to the promotion of equity and opposes harassment and discrimination of any sort.
